With Attic, NEH delivers an even more secure Microsoft 365 workplace to housing associations

Attic and NEH, the market leader as IT provider for housing associations, have joined forces in a strategic partnership to significantly improve security.

Attic and NEH, the market leader as IT provider for housing associations, have today joined forces in a strategic partnership. This partnership is part of a broader NEH strategy to significantly improve security for housing associations in the Netherlands. The next step after obtaining SOC 2 certification in this ambitious strategy is the implementation of the ‘Workplace Security Pack’, which includes an objective assessment against an independent security standard.

The Workplace Security Pack is designed to provide housing associations with robust security for their digital work environments. Part of this package is the use of advanced software that continuously checks security settings and compares them against CIS (Center for Internet Security) standards. These globally recognised benchmarks ensure a robust defence against cyber threats through best practices and detailed security guidelines — essential for protecting the sensitive data of housing associations.

The partnership with Attic Security enables NEH to provide a targeted response to the growing cyber threats facing housing associations. By joining forces with Attic, NEH is confident it can deliver a significantly safer digital environment. This partnership comes at a critical time, given the rising frequency and complexity of cyberattacks targeting the sector. The Workplace Security Pack is a proactive step to strengthen the security of essential systems, while simultaneously working on the rollout of further security measures within NEH’s broader strategy.

Stefan Vogelaar, General Director at NEH: “NEH is actively raising security standards within the sector. We are continuously working on objectifying trust, which is essential for our relationships with clients and partners. We also embrace CIS standards, which we safeguard through automation, to keep our security protocols consistent and reliable. We are committed to full transparency by regularly providing our clients with detailed insight and reports on their security status.”

Erik Remmelzwaal, Managing Director at Zolder: “Our mission is to make SMBs genuinely more cyber-resilient at unprecedented scale, proving that the shortage of cybersecurity expertise can be solved through automation. We are pleased to see that more and more organisations are finding Attic. We know we offer a valuable service and have deliberately chosen to focus on the quality of our software — specifically with scalability in mind — rather than outbound sales. That is why partnerships with IT service providers are very important to us, and we are very excited about the proactive way NEH integrated into their own services so quickly.”
